The 20-tonne rating refers to the maximum weight of the vehicle for which the wheel chock is suitable. It does not describe a load capacity of 20 tonnes per individual wheel chock.

How to Use a Wheel Chock Safely

Park the vehicle on a firm and stable surface. Apply the parking brake and switch off the engine before positioning the wheel chock.

Place the chock firmly against the tyre on the side towards which the vehicle could roll. Use wheel chocks in pairs when required by the vehicle, surface conditions or workplace safety procedures.

Check the wheel chocks regularly for damage or excessive wear. Never drive over them. Always remove the chocks before moving the vehicle.
